NEW Commercial Driver's License (CDL) 
Prep Course Program

The Institute for Labor Studies and Research (ILSR) is partnering with RIPTA and ATU618 to offer a CDL Prep Course for interested candidates seeking employment as a RIPTA bus driver.

 

ILSR will be holding multiple classes of the CDL Prep Course, taught by RIPTA Instructors, to assist candidates in passing the CDL permit test at the DMV. Candidates will have the opportunity to earn while they learn upon course completion.

 

The program includes, but is not limited to:

 

• Eligibility screening by RIPTA

• CASAS Assessment at ILSR

• Full attendance during the CDL Prep Course (16.25 Hours) 

• Verification of scheduled appointment for DMV CDL permit test
